this is so cute!! there's a whole story here in such a short amount of time! it's left me wanting to know more about these characters. also, the art is adorable and i love the sticker-like look on the delivery screen. i think theo is my favorite ❤️

LIZZIE made a potion that turns people into RAINBOW slimes and that didn't CONFORM. OMG that's the first thing I did and I love this so much. Lizzie is one of my nicknames and I'm trans and love rainbows so that's freaking glorious 🧡

This was a much bigger game than I expected. I really figured I'd be giving those five things out, and that the challenge was to remember who to give them to since the name doesn't show at that point, but nope! Way more to it than that! I loved how much interaction there was between the people; it feels like many of the delivery games I've played during this LD have nailed it on delivering things but not been great on feeling like a community of people, and this one did that really well :D Plus the art was super cute and so were the characters! And I can't remember which one it was now but they kept referring to one of the characters as "they", so unless I'm wrong... hurray for nonbinary representation!!! 🧡🧡🧡

I was replaying because I saw it updated 10 hours ago. I guess that was just the dev log... So stopping my replay to give this bug report which I just managed to reproduce:

Gave out all of Gemma's Cupcakes and went back to her. During that final conversation, there was a spot where Gemma disappeared, right after Gemma said "How's it going?"

----

In other things, I thought it there'd be a would be Gemma X Sorrel ship, but given the Wooden Dragon responses, everyone in town can see the real ship! Aww! Cute!

Thanks for catching that, that bug is fixed now!

I was wondering why this was part of a collection with 8 other games, but looking at the character list, Lizzie's Lucky Potion Shop makes sense, at least.

This is a deeper game than I prepared myself for from the shortness of the description! Great conversations, and Jam literally plays into the plot!

Uh... This really doesn't seem to as work well out of order... Like, I went and got Gemma's note for Wes, then Claire told Gemma about it, then finished delivering the cupcakes and then Claire told Gemma about it again... Then I finally gave her *her* letter...

But, if I did things in order, it'd be great, and even out of order, this is a great story!

I guess once I run out of things to deliver, the game's done? No ending cutscene or anything?

Thanks for playing and for your feedback!

As for the collection, since Rose and I usually make games together, we decided to make the Jamwitch account to post collaborations. For our existing games, we used collections to group the games we've made together.

You're right, I didn't account for all the possible orders, especially if you delay giving people their original mail. In a future post-jam update that should flow a little better.

Likewise with the end of the game - we ran out of time during the jam to come up with an official ending... We'll definitely update with some kind of ending in a bit.

All of that makes sense! As a sorta-experienced Jam gamer, I'll say this was a good Jam game! Congrats on finishing!
