What a fun game! the linguistic challenge was just right to be casual and not have to constantly reference the translation list i made.

At first, I felt like a todii. But now I am truly solaam!

(+1)

ohhh i need more games like this

(+1)

amazing game, I had so much fun playing it, searching through the documents, the royal family's history and cultural terms. Would love to see more games like this !!

(+2)

really awesome game!! super fun, i love a little linguistic challenge. Really awesome to figure out the ai/o gendered scheming of cyno/cynai, talo/talai, etc.

(+2)

At first, I was a little overwhelmed, but I couldn't stop playing! Really fun puzzle game!

(+1)

I win! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧

(+2)

An absolute treat, I would adore to play as many games as this creator wants to make. lovely puzzle game!

(+4)

quite genuinely the most fun i've had in awhile. it was both challenging and interesting. I had physical notes alongside the notes in the journal.

if I were to add one thing, maybe a way to search-and-replace all matching words once i think i've translated them correctly.

(+2)

I agree, like the system in the game Lost in Translation

(-1)

Do it in your head. :) It gives more satisfaction, and doesn't lean toward the game confirming your ideas prematurely.

Amazing game with a great story. Absolutely give this a shot if you like the Roottrees are Dead (or give that one a shot if you liked this).

Looking forward to the steam version to play it again!

(+1)

Great game. Had quite a lot of fun. Love deduction games but haven't had the chance to play many, so was nice to see something new.

(+1)

This was a great short puzzle game. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this world you've created.

(+1)

(+2)

(+1)

(+1)

i really liked this game, i felt a bit dumb in my first sitting and took a break but when i came back i made sense of the last few i had. I'd love to see another game like this!

(+1)

OHH MY GODDD,  I'M SO SAD. I JUST FINISHED THE GAME (in 3 days!)...IT WAS AAAAMAZING!!  fyi this is my FIRST time commenting on itch so thats how legendary this game is!!

It's a very unique, very addictive game! It's sooo easy to get invested... And I love how you have to do the work to unfold the story! I'm a sucker for those kinda games haahaha. I had to use another app to keep track of Trevosa's timeline. And it's SOO satisfying when you get people right, and after the part of your time playing where you figure out familial terms, things go so smoothly from thereon!

Okay surelyy I have more to say but I'm too happy and sad and I've just gotten off writing...

Very much looking forward to the expanded version of this game, VERY MUCHHHHH!!!

(+1)

Just finished playing this w my mom!!!!! We loved it, excited for more updates on Steam! Tysm for the experience.

(+2)

that was so much fun. I can't believe I actually solve dit.

(+1)

Amazing! I wish it were longer, I could do this all day <3

(+3)

This game was AMAZING, i was super invested in the story, learning the vocabulary and uncovering everything. The only two things that were unclear to me was why Lemal's title was that and what the solaam was (i think it's us the player but i'm unsure)

Genuinely do more stuff like this, i love it

(+4)

It's a spoiler of course but:

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

They are tiny people living in your house. The Solaam are the humans.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

There's a note that says something like "At night, when the solaam go above..." meaning when they  go to the bedroom. The blue family got exiled Outside and came back with an army of ants or spiders. Solaam can step on them, and at some point there's a mention of a new solaam-family/clan that leaves food in a place they can access easily.  To get at the new food supply, the people learned to ride mascet (mice or rats) and use them as pack animals. But then a large, furry creature appeared, apparently brought in by the Solaam, that loves to eat mascet! The family got a cat and it messed up the logistics in this tiny kingdom.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Thanks! I absolutely didn't get that XD Thanks for the lore upgrade.

This was excellent.

Hi jamwitch, AureliusWhitlock, Celia, I'd love to help you bring Trevosa to Arabic gamers for free! If you're interested in an Arabic translation, please let me know your email or contact me at urbgamesplatform@gmail.com

(+1)

Thanks, but we’re not taking translations for the jam version at this point in time.

(+3)

Amazing game! I had a lot of fun. Much love to all the creators <3

(+1)

Such a good game, I thought it was too short!

(+2)

This game is so fun, got addicted to is so fast! I love the language and lore, very fun puzzle, I love twists and turns

(+1)

Really fun game!

(+1)

This was such a fun game! I am an aspiring archivist, and I appreciate that I got to romanticize that a bit through this. The art, music, and overall story are fantastic. I hope to see more in the future <3

(+4)

I played it last night and enjoyed it a lot. I love the concept of so many new words and the puzzle to learn them from the documents. It scratches the same fantasy as some fantasy books I read in the past where the lore of the world and historic characters are very unknown.

I don't have a problem with duration but the problem is that I NEED MORE. Hahaha.

Hope you follow this concept in someway, but even if you not, thanks for the experience and the fun.

(+1)

Great news for you, as we recently shared in this devlog, we’re working on an expanded version of the game as we speak!

(+1)

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Took about an hour

(+2)

you are a BLESSING for making sure things were saved in browser storage! THANK YOU! My only qualm is you really might reduce anxiety by putting that on like the top line of the bio because I just didnt come back and check because i just assumed computer games that didnt have a manual save function just automatically didnt save anything. ive never seen otherwise be true in a game til now!

(+1)

this game is amazing! i am very picky about puzzle games but the way the story is told is so creative i got really invested in all the drama, i felt like i read an entire trilogy of lore rn

(+1)

This was genuinely so much fun! It's such a unique idea, i loved it~

(+1)

Really cool game!

(+1)

omg this is awesome!
